Special Educational Needs

A child has special educational needs where their learning difficulty or disability calls for special educational provision, namely, provision different from, or in addition to that normally available to pupils of the same age (SEND Code of Practice 2015).

If a parent or carer is concerned about their child, please contact the school to talk to us.  Your first point of contact is your child's class teacher, who will discuss your concerns with the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo).  Alternatively, you can arrange to talk to or meet with our SENCo, Sue Ham, by calling the school office on: 01749 673516 or by sending an email to: SENDCo@horringtonprimary.co.uk

Please find below, information on the support available at Horrington Primary School in our School Information Report.
